Today, November 6, 2026, Trammell S. Crow, the founder of EarthX, turns 75. X Stories is one of 75 project websites saying thank you on his birthday. This is ours, dedication number 73 of 75.
In 2011, about 48,000 people came to the first Earth Day Dallas. By 2019 more than 177,000 came to Fair Park, and every April since, presidents, prime ministers, explorers, students and Rotarians have taken the EarthX stage in Dallas. Every story on this site began with someone who was given a stage. Thank you, Trammell S. Crow and EarthX, for the stories that started in Dallas.
The countdown starts today
Starting on his birthday, one project a day takes the spotlight on the road to the Environmental Xperience at EarthX 2027 in Dallas. Each project shares its own story and its own thank you, rated against the Four-Way Test, Rotary’s Areas of Focus, the Pillars of Peace and the UN Sustainable Development Goals.
Happy birthday, Trammell, and thank you for a stage where the people doing the work are heard.
